Background

Apollo Travel Group, with its B2C brand “Apollo”, is one of the biggest tour operators in the Nordic countries, and also one the biggest e-commerce players in the region.

About the project

As a sole UX Designer, Johan designed a new responsive booking flow for Apollo’s four nordic websites in close collaboration with business developers and tech teams. Being influenced by the “Lean UX” philosophy, he created several prototypes from “low fidelity” to “high fidelity” containing detailed interactive scenarios matching all the different booking scenarios outlined in the customer journey.

Several usability tests were conducted by Johan throughout the project to verify the design against the business impact goals.

Result

A modern, mobile friendly and more integrated booking flow with different starting points depending on where in the buying decision process the customer is.
